I had another early meeting today so I swam on my own at Life Time in the indoor 25 meter pool.  Whitney emailed the workout to me last night.  How cool is that?

Warm up:
10:00 choice, went 400 swim/200 pull
Main set, holding the same pace:
10 x 100 @ 2:00 (the workout as written said 12, but that was for yards, and I would have run out of time)
200 pull
10 x 100 @ 1:50
200 pull
10 x 100 @ 1:40
100 easy
1 x 100 fast
100 easy
Held 1:17 on round one, 1:16 on rounds two and three (800 race pace). Went 1:10 on the fast 100.



  1. Emailed you the workout? I'm jealous. I'm constantly checking your blog for the workout when I'm not able to make it to practice.

  2. I have on occasion asked Whitney for the workout in advance when I know that I am going to miss practice because I know that she has an overall training plan for the week. I definitely would not have written anything this challenging on my own.
