The sleep deficit I have accumulated this week because of call responsibilities and too many late nights at the hospital has caught up with me. Swam at Nitro this morning with James, David, Matt, and Jean. Tom coached. This was by far my weakest practice in quite a while.
400 swim, 300 pull, 200 kick
2 x 600 @ 10:00, descend, went 8:57 and 8:46
3 x 300 @ 4:45, descend, not a very tough interval but could only manage 4:19, 4:18, and 4:17
4 x 150 @ 2:10, went 2:03, 2:06, 2:09 and 2:11; a challenging interval but on the basis of yesterday's 150s one that I should have been able to handle (even though I made the mistake of not reading through the entire workout beforehand--if I had, I would have pulled the 300s and then tried to finish strong on the 150s)
